PHASE 1: CLIENT & POSITION ASSESSMENT

Our process begins in securing a complete understanding of the job as described by the hiring manager.

Working within specialized teams organized by industry—Healthcare, IT, Telecom and Financial Services—our account managers and recruiters share a common goal of filling each position with the ideal person. To facilitate that fit, we always meet a new manager in person, and one-on-one contact continues to be a priority as we build meaningful alliances with our clients. Considering requirements, we determine in our discussions what qualifies a “must have” versus a “like to have” in the applicant, and make note of the subtle attributes which would be ideal for a person working in that job. Our professionals also take into account intangible qualities such as the workplace environment and the corporate culture.

PHASE 2: PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING

We gather resumes from a variety of sources, including our internal database of professional contacts and referrals.

We next review resumes and identify candidates with relevant skills, experience and other strengths

PHASE 3: CANDIDATE EVALUATION

We initially interview candidates by phone then meet face-to-face with designated applicants.

We ensure that the applicant is not only qualified but also comfortable with the duties and sincerely interested in the position relative to location, pay, growth opportunities, position duties and skills. The intangible characteristics, such as the company culture and team persona which we learn from our clients during Phase One, enable us to find candidates who fit those criteria.

PHASE 4: SHORTLIST IDENTIFICATIONS

Before a candidate interviews with a company, we perform necessary background checks, including references from previous managers, and administer any required testing.

Our legwork enables us to narrow down the field of applicants so that we submit only a few topnotch candidates per opening; we save the job hunter and the hiring manager considerable time. We then schedule all meetings and thoroughly prepare candidates so that each feels confident before the big interview.

PHASE 5: PROCESS MANAGEMENT

To break the ice, we often meet candidates at the worksite before the scheduled interview to review details and to introduce the interviewee to the manager.

After the interview, we provide timely feedback for the client and the candidate and help obtain any additional communication requested by either party. We facilitate the offer and the acceptance in various ways, such as by arranging an agreeable compensation structure and designating the start date. We additionally provide any documentation—references, offer letters, personal information—necessary for the client and candidate.

PHASE 6: QUALITY ASSURANCE

After the individual is hired, we conduct post-placement check-in calls to candidates and clients to ensure all is running smoothly, and supply additional services as needed.
